If the result of the test is negative, the pregnancy hormone (hCG) isn’t present in your urine and you are not pregnant. If your period doesn’t start during the following week, we advise you to consult your doctor or gynaecologist.
The result is positive
If the result of the test is positive, consult your doctor or your gynaecologist. You can discuss your pregnancy further with him/her. When should you announce your pregnancy to your family and friends?
