The batteries have run down and should be replaced.

- Keep the device at room temperature, then re-take the measurement.

- Keep the device at room temperature, then re-take the measurement.

Is there a difference in temperature between the right and left ear?
A slight difference is possible even in people in good health. This difference may be a result of the probe being incorrectly position in the ear canal.
